Word of the Day~Timing

Your time measurement may not be the same as your creator's.  Your job is to get ready by becoming organized and then wait patiently for results.  When you least expect it, great things will happen.  Doors will open up that have never been there before.  But always, always have a smile on your face in waiting anticipation.

Albert Einstein says:
"The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once."

Stacey Charter says"
"Life is all about timing...the unreachable becomes reachable, the unavailable becomes available, the unattainable...attainable.  Have the patience, wait it out.  It's all about timing."

Living with Pleasure

Everyday there are hundreds of things to distract us.  TV, radio, people, magazines, jobs....to name a few.  It is up to us to pick and choose our experiences so that we may live a pleasure filled life.  How are we feeling while we do what we choose?  Do you feel good or do you feel entitled or like you are sacrificing?  When you are eating, do you mindlessly watching TV or do you eat each bite thoughtfully letting the food nourish you?  When you take your children to the park, do you talk on the phone the whole time or do you interact with them?

If you are not getting what you want out of life, think about the feeling you put in.  Be in the vibration of the life you want to lead, if you want to experience the pleasures in life.  When the vibration is achieved, more and more pleasure filled experiences will start to gravitate towards you.

Esther Hicks says:
"No one can deny you or grant you anything.  It all comes to you by virtue of your vibration."

Mohandas Gandhi says:
"To give pleasure to a single heart by a single act is better than a thousand heads bowing in prayer."

Word of the Day~Balance

Albert Einstein says:
"Life is like riding a bicycle.  To keep your balance, you must keep moving forward."

Balance is a state of equilibrium.  It can be hard to stay balanced in the world we live in today.
Sometimes we need to step away from the situation to remain even tempered.  Even when we try our hardest to stay balanced, it may take the smallest thing to get us out off kilter again.  We must remember  to breath.  When I am stressed and struggling, I tend to clench up.  Taking deep calming breaths helps to relax me.  If things seem over whelming, let go of tasks that don't need to be done immediately.  By reducing your load, you will reduce the load on your mind and feel more balanced.

Fear Replacement

Everyday there are so many fears that could hold us up on our journey of life.  The sources are endless.
These fears will no longer effect us once we commit to a fear replacement plan.  The plan is simple and is easy to remember.  It can be applied in any situation where fear may reside.

Step 1:  Find your fear
Step 2:  Replace fear with love and forgiveness
Step 3: Feel instantaneously better and free to live your life the way you were meant to live!

What's holding you back now?

Japanese Proverb says:
"Fear is only as deep as the mind allows."

Gandhi says:
"The enemy is fear.  We think it is hate; but, it is fear."

Tom Crum says:
"You either move toward something you love or away from something you fear.  The first expands.  The second constricts."

Cleaning the Clutter

Organize your space and clean the cobwebs from the corners and you will start to feel more organized in your mind.  Finish long ago forgotton projects, give them away, or throw them away.  Do not let unutilized items clutter your life.  Only have what you need and gift away the rest.  When you give away, you get back in return.  You will get back life's abundance that you so desire.  Organize your life around your dreams and watch them come true!

Richard Feyman says:
"Natures uses only the longest threads to weave her pattern, so that each small piece of her fabric revels the organization of the entre tapestry."

Louis Parish says:
"If you can organize your closet,  you can organize your life."

Word of the Day~ Compassion

Compassion is:
Believing in someone even if they don't give you a reason to.
Wishing others to be free from suffering and extending the wish to all without limits.
Extending your love even when there is no reason to.
Praying for others.
Taking a moment to listen unbiasly.
A simple smile to a stranger.

Conor Oberst says:
"I came upon a doctor who appeared in quite poor health.  I said, 'There is nothing I can do for you that you can't do for yourself.'  He said, 'Yes you can.  Just sit and hold my hand. I think that would help.' So I sat with him for while then I asked him how he felt.  He said. 'I think I'm cured.'

William Cowper says"
"Man may dismiss compassion from the heart, but God never will."

Hubert Humphrey says:
"Compassion is not weakness, and concern for the unfortunate is not socialism."

Time to Heal

Sometimes in our lives, we need to take time to heal.  The body is an amazing thing in that once well rested, you can wake up feeling energized and refreshed.  So how do you refresh the mind?Allow yourself time for reflection so that you can discard old ideas that don't work for you anymore and add new ideas that will help you heal faster.  By releasing old ideas, you are freeing yourself of past hurts, let downs, and anxieties.  This opens you up and allows more room for personal growth.

Be patient with yourself.  Allow yourself the proper amount of time needed to grieve the loss of your former self.  Be careful not to let yourself dwell in the grief by celebrating the release and welcoming a new thought process.  Freedom from old thoughts and feelings will begin to occur more and more easily.

We live our lives like the changing of the seasons.  Out with the old, in with the new.  Welcome it, love it, relish in it.

I personally had a tendency to be hard on myself for not thinking of an idea sooner.  Until I realized that everything happens in the flow of what the universe thinks is best for me.  When I am ready for the next challenge or phase in my life, it will be shown to me.  I also have to be open to seeing it.

Hippocrates says:
"Healing is a matter of time, it is also a matter of opportunity."

Seneca says:
"Time heals what reason cannot."

Word of the day~Harmony

~Harmony is being on the same wavelength as what you want in life
~When I live my life in harmony with what my soul dream is, I am aligning everything in my life.
~True harmony is balance at its finest.
~If you are feeling less than harmonious, take a step back to assess the situation so that you can move forward with a clear head.

Morihei Ueshiba says:
"Each and every master, regardless of the era or the place, heard the call and attained harmony with heaven and earth.  There are many paths to the top of Mount Fuji, but there is only one summit- love."

Mahandas Gandhi says:
"Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony."

"Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed.  Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well."

Vision Beyond Emotions

Have you ever been hurt by what someone had to say or do?  I know that I have.  I would take everything way to personally.  Whenever someone had a bad day, I was SURE it was my fault.
I now realize that it wasn't my fault.  They were going to be mad even if I wasn't there.

Have you ever noticed that when you are upset you make the wrong decision?  Or didn't see the potential of a situation to turn out well?  Personally, when I was upset by thinking I was the reason for some one's problems, I started doing exactly what it was that they didn't like.  Not on purpose, but because I was afraid of making the wrong move.  It just became a vicious cycle of events.  Until one day I realized that it didn't have to be that way.
I shifted my thoughts and rose above my emotions and the emotions of others.  Now when someone has a bad day, it is all theirs.
When someone is looking for a scapegoat, it is not me.
When a decision needs to be made, it is made with clarity of mind.

When someone you know is taking their frustrations out on you, do you allow them to?  Or does it roll of your back like water?

Life is about how we handle ourselves in the midst of diversity and hard times.

Washington Irving says:
"Little minds are tamed and subdued by misfortune; but great minds rise above them."

Unknown author says:
“When it rains, most birds head for shelter; the Eagle is the only bird that, in order to avoid the rain, starts flying above the cloud.”

Word of the Day~ Goodness

Rumi Says:
"It is certain that an atom of goodness on the path of faith is never lost."

Have you ever seen someone walking on the side of the road because their car broke down?  Do you continue to drive by or do you stop to offer assistance?

Have you ever been near someone who has dropped something?  Do you help pick it up or do you keep on walking?

Have you ever seen someone that had a bad and just needed a hug?  Did you give your love freely?

The Youngbloods say:
"C'mon people now, smile on your brother ev'rybody get together try and love one another right now ......"

Michel de Montaigne says:
"Confidence in the goodness of another is good proof of one's own goodness."

Fire within

May August be a month of allowing the fire within burning brightly for all of us.  Let us show the world what we can do by honoring our creator with our beautiful creations.  May we all have the strength to show peace by giving love no matter what situation may arise.  So be it!
So what sets you on fire?
What makes your heart sing?
Think it, be it.
