The Power of Words

With every word that is spoken, you are weaving a tapestry.  Are your words creating a strong, binding, loving weave or is it loose and snarled by your judgements and perceptions?

Sometimes it not the words spoken but the way they're spoken that matters.

-Word

Guy Finley says:
"If we only knew how many times our seemingly clever comment cut straight into the heart of the person with whom we have just spoken, it is we who would bleed."

Embracing Your Creative Self

Expressions of beauty through art and creativity is one of the highest honors you can give to your Creator.  In being creative, you are a creator.  Bending and shaping your world into what you desire.    By using the talents that you have been given intuitivly and respectfully you are paying homage and you will be blessed by doing so.

What talents do you possess?

People have told me that they are not creative in any way or that they don't have creative bone in their body.  If that is something you would say, I kindly remind you to look at everything that you do and if it as a talent, because it is.  If you choose to look at what you do as creative and flowing, your experiences will become more creative and flowing.

Abraham Maslow says:
“The key question isn’t “What fosters creativity?” But it is why in God’s name isn’t everyone creative? Where was the human potential lost? How was it crippled? I think therefore a good question might be not why do people create? But why do people not create or innovate? We have got to abandon that sense of amazement in the face of creativity, as if it were a miracle if anybody created anything.”

Vincent van Gogh says:
“If you hear a voice within you say, ‘You cannot paint,’ then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.”

Simply Life

People try to make life harder than it needs to be.  Endless tasks to do.  Always on the run.  At what point is too much, too much?  When was the last time you consciously slowed down and took a moment to just be.
Will it matter in ten years if the dishes don't get done until tomorrow?
It is okay to step away by playing catch or running around and being silly with your kids.

There was a time when I found myself rushing to get to work, worried about being late.  Then one day I decided to take my sweet time before going into the office.  I took my dogs out a little longer than usual.  I put conscious thought into my morning tasks taking my time to do so.  Funny thing was that I found myself arriving on time just as I would have if I had rushed.
Everything seemed to fall right into place when I relaxed and took the time to enjoy my life one lovely moment at a time.

Chris Canton says:
"Simplify the complex as much as possible, and you'll be fine."

Eleanor Roosevelt says:
"A little simplicity would be the first step toward rational living, I think."

Plato says:
“Beauty of style and harmony and grace and good rhythm depend on simplicity.”

Word of the Day~ Create

To create means to bring something into existence. To cause something to happen as a result of one's actions.  To give rise, to produce.

Your actions, in every moment of the day, are creating your universe.
If you bring a bad attitude to the table, it may not be such an easy existence for you.
What are you producing with rushing around from place to place, being rude to strangers, or yelling at your children?  You are in your world stuck with what you created around you.  But, there is hope because you are never truly stuck with what you have....you can change your mind at any time and start creating a different scene.  There is always time to pivot to a new thought, idea, or action.  Freedom is yours by creating what you really want.

Louise Hay says:
"Every thought we think is creating the future."

Henri Bergson says:
"To exist is to change; to change is to mature; to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly."

Word of the Day~ Choice

~Every moment of the day brings a possibility to make choices.
~The amazing thing about life is that we have the choice to change or minds if we want to.
~If you don't make a choice, one will be chosen for you, so doing nothing is still a choice.
~Your choice will be reflected in the outcome.
~Choosing happiness will bring you happiness.  Choosing to be sad and self defeating, will make life be as such.

Albert Cumas says:
"Life is the sum of all of your choices."

Flora Whittemore says:
"The doors we open and close each day decide the lives we live."

T.S. Elliot says:
"In a minute there is time for decisions and revisions which minute will reverse."

Word of the Day~Timing

Your time measurement may not be the same as your creator's.  Your job is to get ready by becoming organized and then wait patiently for results.  When you least expect it, great things will happen.  Doors will open up that have never been there before.  But always, always have a smile on your face in waiting anticipation.

Albert Einstein says:
"The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once."

Stacey Charter says"
"Life is all about timing...the unreachable becomes reachable, the unavailable becomes available, the unattainable...attainable.  Have the patience, wait it out.  It's all about timing."

Living with Pleasure

Everyday there are hundreds of things to distract us.  TV, radio, people, magazines, jobs....to name a few.  It is up to us to pick and choose our experiences so that we may live a pleasure filled life.  How are we feeling while we do what we choose?  Do you feel good or do you feel entitled or like you are sacrificing?  When you are eating, do you mindlessly watching TV or do you eat each bite thoughtfully letting the food nourish you?  When you take your children to the park, do you talk on the phone the whole time or do you interact with them?

If you are not getting what you want out of life, think about the feeling you put in.  Be in the vibration of the life you want to lead, if you want to experience the pleasures in life.  When the vibration is achieved, more and more pleasure filled experiences will start to gravitate towards you.

Esther Hicks says:
"No one can deny you or grant you anything.  It all comes to you by virtue of your vibration."

Mohandas Gandhi says:
"To give pleasure to a single heart by a single act is better than a thousand heads bowing in prayer."

Word of the Day~Balance

Albert Einstein says:
"Life is like riding a bicycle.  To keep your balance, you must keep moving forward."

Balance is a state of equilibrium.  It can be hard to stay balanced in the world we live in today.
Sometimes we need to step away from the situation to remain even tempered.  Even when we try our hardest to stay balanced, it may take the smallest thing to get us out off kilter again.  We must remember  to breath.  When I am stressed and struggling, I tend to clench up.  Taking deep calming breaths helps to relax me.  If things seem over whelming, let go of tasks that don't need to be done immediately.  By reducing your load, you will reduce the load on your mind and feel more balanced.

Fear Replacement

Everyday there are so many fears that could hold us up on our journey of life.  The sources are endless.
These fears will no longer effect us once we commit to a fear replacement plan.  The plan is simple and is easy to remember.  It can be applied in any situation where fear may reside.

Step 1:  Find your fear
Step 2:  Replace fear with love and forgiveness
Step 3: Feel instantaneously better and free to live your life the way you were meant to live!

What's holding you back now?

Japanese Proverb says:
"Fear is only as deep as the mind allows."

Gandhi says:
"The enemy is fear.  We think it is hate; but, it is fear."

Tom Crum says:
"You either move toward something you love or away from something you fear.  The first expands.  The second constricts."

Cleaning the Clutter

Organize your space and clean the cobwebs from the corners and you will start to feel more organized in your mind.  Finish long ago forgotton projects, give them away, or throw them away.  Do not let unutilized items clutter your life.  Only have what you need and gift away the rest.  When you give away, you get back in return.  You will get back life's abundance that you so desire.  Organize your life around your dreams and watch them come true!

Richard Feyman says:
"Natures uses only the longest threads to weave her pattern, so that each small piece of her fabric revels the organization of the entre tapestry."

Louis Parish says:
"If you can organize your closet,  you can organize your life."

Word of the Day~ Compassion

Compassion is:
Believing in someone even if they don't give you a reason to.
Wishing others to be free from suffering and extending the wish to all without limits.
Extending your love even when there is no reason to.
Praying for others.
Taking a moment to listen unbiasly.
A simple smile to a stranger.

Conor Oberst says:
"I came upon a doctor who appeared in quite poor health.  I said, 'There is nothing I can do for you that you can't do for yourself.'  He said, 'Yes you can.  Just sit and hold my hand. I think that would help.' So I sat with him for while then I asked him how he felt.  He said. 'I think I'm cured.'

William Cowper says"
"Man may dismiss compassion from the heart, but God never will."

Hubert Humphrey says:
"Compassion is not weakness, and concern for the unfortunate is not socialism."

Time to Heal

Sometimes in our lives, we need to take time to heal.  The body is an amazing thing in that once well rested, you can wake up feeling energized and refreshed.  So how do you refresh the mind?Allow yourself time for reflection so that you can discard old ideas that don't work for you anymore and add new ideas that will help you heal faster.  By releasing old ideas, you are freeing yourself of past hurts, let downs, and anxieties.  This opens you up and allows more room for personal growth.

Be patient with yourself.  Allow yourself the proper amount of time needed to grieve the loss of your former self.  Be careful not to let yourself dwell in the grief by celebrating the release and welcoming a new thought process.  Freedom from old thoughts and feelings will begin to occur more and more easily.

We live our lives like the changing of the seasons.  Out with the old, in with the new.  Welcome it, love it, relish in it.

I personally had a tendency to be hard on myself for not thinking of an idea sooner.  Until I realized that everything happens in the flow of what the universe thinks is best for me.  When I am ready for the next challenge or phase in my life, it will be shown to me.  I also have to be open to seeing it.

Hippocrates says:
"Healing is a matter of time, it is also a matter of opportunity."

Seneca says:
"Time heals what reason cannot."

Word of the day~Harmony

~Harmony is being on the same wavelength as what you want in life
~When I live my life in harmony with what my soul dream is, I am aligning everything in my life.
~True harmony is balance at its finest.
~If you are feeling less than harmonious, take a step back to assess the situation so that you can move forward with a clear head.

Morihei Ueshiba says:
"Each and every master, regardless of the era or the place, heard the call and attained harmony with heaven and earth.  There are many paths to the top of Mount Fuji, but there is only one summit- love."

Mahandas Gandhi says:
"Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony."

"Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed.  Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well."

Vision Beyond Emotions

Have you ever been hurt by what someone had to say or do?  I know that I have.  I would take everything way to personally.  Whenever someone had a bad day, I was SURE it was my fault.
I now realize that it wasn't my fault.  They were going to be mad even if I wasn't there.

Have you ever noticed that when you are upset you make the wrong decision?  Or didn't see the potential of a situation to turn out well?  Personally, when I was upset by thinking I was the reason for some one's problems, I started doing exactly what it was that they didn't like.  Not on purpose, but because I was afraid of making the wrong move.  It just became a vicious cycle of events.  Until one day I realized that it didn't have to be that way.
I shifted my thoughts and rose above my emotions and the emotions of others.  Now when someone has a bad day, it is all theirs.
When someone is looking for a scapegoat, it is not me.
When a decision needs to be made, it is made with clarity of mind.

When someone you know is taking their frustrations out on you, do you allow them to?  Or does it roll of your back like water?

Life is about how we handle ourselves in the midst of diversity and hard times.

Washington Irving says:
"Little minds are tamed and subdued by misfortune; but great minds rise above them."

Unknown author says:
“When it rains, most birds head for shelter; the Eagle is the only bird that, in order to avoid the rain, starts flying above the cloud.”

Word of the Day~ Goodness

Rumi Says:
"It is certain that an atom of goodness on the path of faith is never lost."

Have you ever seen someone walking on the side of the road because their car broke down?  Do you continue to drive by or do you stop to offer assistance?

Have you ever been near someone who has dropped something?  Do you help pick it up or do you keep on walking?

Have you ever seen someone that had a bad and just needed a hug?  Did you give your love freely?

The Youngbloods say:
"C'mon people now, smile on your brother ev'rybody get together try and love one another right now ......"

Michel de Montaigne says:
"Confidence in the goodness of another is good proof of one's own goodness."

Fire within

May August be a month of allowing the fire within burning brightly for all of us.  Let us show the world what we can do by honoring our creator with our beautiful creations.  May we all have the strength to show peace by giving love no matter what situation may arise.  So be it!
So what sets you on fire?
What makes your heart sing?
Think it, be it.

Word of the Day~ Imprint

No matter what we are doing, there is usually someone watching you. No, I am not saying this to make you paranoid.  What I suggesting is to look at self and see what you are doing and how you are doing it.  What imprint are you leaving on the world?
Bad hair days, late out of bed, in a hurry....or, smile on your face, roll with the punches, showing and teaching calm reactions...Your children ARE watching.  Your neighbors ARE listening.
Take a deeeep breath and have a calm reaction.

Show only love, be only love.

New Beginnings

Every day is a new and fresh start.  EVERYDAY IS A NEW AND FRESH START!!!
No matter what has gone wrong or right, you can begin again!

Humans are the only animal that continues to punish ourselves and others over and over and over again for mistakes.
I love to watch my dogs play with each other.  They would be getting along just fine and then one starts fighting with the other.  Later on they start playing again because they have completely forgiven each other for the fight earlier.  They don't continue to hold grudges.
The practice of forgiveness can be the opening door that is needed to invite a new beginning.

Loren Fischer says:
"The difference between holding on to a hurt or releasing it with forgiveness is like the difference between lying down at night on a pillow of thorns or filled with rose pedals."

Jonathan Lakewood Huie says:
"Another sunrise, another new beginning."

Word of the day~ Faith

~When the situation seems the darkest and you don't seem to have a way out, remember to have faith in the fact that everything WILL BE OKAY.
~Realize that you are not in control.  Let go, give it up to your creator.  Have faith.
~Trust yourself to know what to do.  Get quiet and listen to the voice within.  Learn to trust your heart.
~Sometimes you just have to take leap of faith when you are unsure of the outcome.
Keep calm, take a deep breath, and go....

Paul McCartney says:
"When the night is cloudy, there is a still a light that shines on me. Shine until tomorrow, let it be."

Les Brown says:
"I advise you to say your dream is possible and then overcome all the inconveniences, ignore the hassles and take a running leap through the hoop, even if it has flames."

Monday, July 25, 2011

Word of the day~ ASK

I was blessed because I asked to be blessed.

Ask for what you want and you will receive it.  There is a catch though...you must ask with an open heart.  Because the more you strive for complete and unconditional love, the more the invisible angels will help you. And there are legions of angels anxiously waiting to do your bidding.  All we have to do is SIMPLY ASK.

At one point in my life, I didn't feel like I deserved goodness and love in my life.  I have no idea what I could have ever done to not deserve love but I was sure I wasn't good enough for it.  I realize now that I am good enough, I truly do deserve love.  I opened my heart to the possibilities.

Time for some anxious angels to get to work!

Oh yeah, and when you are done asking, don't forget to THANK!

Ask....thank.....be.....

Reflection of the Heart

Everyday we can see what our heart reflection is judging by what we get back from life.
If the experience we are living is hard and a struggle, look at the reflection in the mirror.  If the image looking back at you is cloudy, wipe it off and take a deeper look.  Are you creating the chaotic, scary, or difficult times with what you are projecting?  Or are you bringing joy, love, and abundance into your life?

Everything that we say and do reflects back to us.  Give beauty, get beauty.  Give  with an open heart, get back from an open heart.  Practice non judgement, get back non judgement.  Life is what you make it, not what someone else does to us.  What are we doing that brought the hard times onto us?  Do you make it hard or do you go with the flow?

Alan Cohen says:
"Everyone and everything that shows up in our life is a reflection of something that has happened inside of us."

Here's the Key

Now it's time to use it.  Because you have always had the key to unlock everything you have ever wanted.  It's up to you which door you want to open.
Sometimes there are many keys to choose from.  Many people want the shiniest or newest key there is.  Maybe the key that fits isn't be the one you thought it would be.  Don't forget to be open the possibly that you are not in control of which key it is that opens the door.  Maybe the key you have doesn't open the door you think you should have, but a better one that has exactly what you need behind it.

Winston Churchill says:
"Continuous effort, not strength or intelligence, is the key to unlocking our potential."

Pablo Picasso says:
"Action is the foundational key to all success."

Lao Tzu says:
"The key to growth is the introduction of higher dimensions of consciousness into our awareness."

Bruce Lee:
"The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering."

Word of the Day~ Patience

~Patience is the art of waiting even while the going is hard and slow....when we least expect it, that is when we get the answers to what we are looking for.
~Patience and timing go hand in hand.
~Wisdom is waiting quietly and patiently for the best outcome to be shown to you.
~If you are patient enough and kind of heart, that is when people surprise you the most.
~Hope and patience will get you through any situation unscarred.
~There is a secret to patience and that is doing something else for a while.
~Start with patience of self first, master it, own it...then transfer that knowledge to your neighbor.

Benjamin Franklin says:
"He who can have patience can have what he will."

Ralph Marston says:
"The keys to patience are acceptance and faith.  Accept things as they are and look realistically at the world around you.  Have faith in yourself and in the direction you have chosen."

Buddist Proverb says:
"If we are facing the right direction, all we have to do is keep on walking."

Dutch Proverb says:
"A handful of patience is worth more than a bushel of brains."

Living a Calm Flowing Life

~Step out of the hurricane of chaos and into the eye of calm.
~Rise above the emotions of others.  Emotions just confuse the situation.  Simply imbue love to calm emotions.
~Living in a way that is in the flow with what you are here on Earth to do will create a calmness in your life.  Everything will start to fall into alignment.  Sincronicities will start to occur.  Doors will open that were once closed.
~When you are out of line with what you are suppose to be doing, life is hard and a struggle.
~When life is a hard to deal with, let go and give it to your creator to handle.  Free your mind of what troubles you.  You are not in control of the outcome.  So why waste your time and energy?  Use your energy on doing what you love.  What better way to glorify your creator other than being a creator of your life!

Marcus Tillius says:
"The pursuit, even of the best things, ought to be calm and tranquil."

Seneca says:
"Nothing is so bitter that a calm mind cannot find comfort in it."

Plato says:
"He who is of calm and happy nature will hardly feel the pressure of age, but to him who is of an opposite disposition youth and age are equally a burden."

Word of the Day~ Confidence

Confidence happens when fear is nowhere to be found.  Build strength of self by facing our fears.
It is also when you have the strength to know when to hold on and when to let go.
Confidence comes from not always being right and not fearing being wrong.  It also comes from being open to the answers.  Knowing what to say and when to say it, while not listening to naysayers.

Open up to the possibilities by being confident in what you set out to do in everyday, every situation.

Eleanor Roosevelt says:
"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience which you really stop to look fear in the face.  You are able to say to yourself,  'I lived through this horror.  I can take the next thing that comes along."

Richard Kline says:
"Confidence is preperation, everything else is beyond your control."

Mark Twain says:
"All you need is ingorance and confidence, and then success is sure."

Living with an Open Heart

Creator puts people in our path so that we may learn and grow.  We learn about ourselves and how to handle situations better each time and we grow by remembering the lesson.

When we close our hearts to new people we may be missing out on a possible beautiful life experience.  Letting go of the personal fears we harbor may lead to an amazing friendship with someone that you never thought possible.  Choosing not to judge others may help you realize how talented or intelligent they are.
When you look at others with preconceived notions and prejudgements you are harming yourself more than you know.  You could be missing out on a fantastic relationship or really important information.

When you pray, you never know who (or what) will answer your prayers.  Think about that for a moment.......
All those people you looked down upon because they weren't wearing the correct clothes or didn't drive the nicest car, or because you thought you were better then them.....They could have been delivering an important message that you were waiting for but you weren't open hearted enough to receive the it.

Confucius says:
"Wheresoever you go, go with all your heart."

Evander Holyfield says:
"It is not the size of the man but the size of his heart that matters."

Deepak Chopra says:
"The less you open your heart to others, the more your heart suffers."

Just for today, I will be Grateful

This is another reiki principle.
~Being grateful brings joy to the spirit!
~Be grateful from your heart.
~Focus on inner intention.
~Be thankful and grateful for the small things as well as the big things.  Yes be excited for the new job or large check in the mail, but remember to be happy and excited for the air we breath, the bees, the trees, your neighbor, sunshine........HAPPY and GRATEFUL TO BE ALIVE~ What are the chances that you are even here right now in the place and this time......
~Simple things as thanks, forgiveness, smile, good words, gratitude can improve others life and make them happy.
~When you focus what you are grateful for, more positive things will come to you.
~Do not allow the negative to invade your gratefulness.  There are so many things that can be viewed as bad-just a small pivot in perception can change that. You may have lost your job but now you have more time to spend with the family.  One door closes, another opens.  Maybe you just broke up with your partner but you may meet the person of your dreams tomorrow.

~EXPRESS your gratefulness!!! Tell everyone you know WHY you are happy and thankful!  SHOUT IT TO THE HEAVENS AND YOU WILL BE HEARD!

Anthony Robbins says:
"When you are grateful fear disappears and abundance appears."

Sarah Ban Breathnach says:
"Whatever we are waiting for-peace of mind, contentment, grace, the inner awareness of simple abundance- it will surely come to us, but only when we are ready to receive it with and open and grateful heart."

Cultivating the your Dream Seeds

Everyone is given seeds that are able to grow into the garden of their dreams.  When they see their neighbor's garden growing, there's a rush to see what's going on.   In fact, entire industries have been built around the trading of other people's gardens.  People are hired, sales teams sell, vendors compete for the chance to work in someone else's garden.

There are seeds that grow into private gardens, seeds that are best sellers, and seeds that grow into happy families.  The biggest hindrance on discovering your own seeds is the fascination with the garden of others.

When you plant your own garden, have faith that your seeds will grow.  One must have patience, persistence, and focus for a fruitful garden.  Too much or too little attention will not allow the plants to grow properly.  As we care for the seeds, we must be willing to allow the time and space it needs to grow.  We must envision the plants becoming fruitful.

~HOE

Ralph Waldo Emerson says:
"The creation of a thousand forests is in one single acorn."

Bette Bao Lord says:
"Nothing fruitful ever comes when plants are forced to flower in the wrong season."

Bill Meyer says:
"Every thought is a seed.  If you plant crab apples, don't plan on harvesting golden delicious."

Just for today, I will do my work honestly

Another of the reiki principles.
~I support myself and my family respectably, without harming others.
~I live a life of honor and it reflects in everything that I do.
~When I work honestly, I bring abundance into my soul.
~Everyday, I work hard and to best of my ability.  Somedays my hardest and best may differ and that is OKAY!
~To live and work honestly is to be aligned with your higher self's purpose.
~By living and working honestly, I live a more harmonious life.

Mary Kay Ash says:
"Honesty is the cornerstone of all success, without which confidence and ability to perform shall cease to exist.

Liane Cordes says:
"Continuous effort-not strength or intelligence- is the key to unlocking your potential."

Lowell Thomas says:
"Do a little more each day than you think you possibly can."

~Reiki Principle of Namaste~

Namaste is a greeting of high honor, a way to acknowledge your elders or offer respect.  It is a Sanskrit word that translates to
"I honor the place within you where the entire universe resides.  I honor the place within you where lies your love, your truth, your peace, and your beauty.  If you are in this place within yourself and I am this place, we are one."

In western society, people have been prepped and trained to believe that we are not one with each other.  That we are individuals and what we do as individuals does not effect anyone but ourselves....This thought has lead to conflict, hatred, prejudice, separation, and fear.  We are in fact all inter-connected.  Some thing that I think, say, or do can in fact effect someone a 100 miles away as much as the person standing right next to me.  When I have an adverse thought or feeling, others pick up on it.  When I feel good, the same occurs.  This is because we are all on the same plane of existence, the same vibration.

When you look at a stranger, you are looking at your brother.  You are looking at yourself.  How would you like to be treated?  Do you want to be respected, loved, smiled at, fed, clothed......There is no separation between you and the homeless man on the corner, there is no difference between you and the cashier.  Be generous and kind to "strangers" as if they were you mother, brother, or sister.

We are all here for a reason.  Honor and respect that although they are not doing what you would do, or being how you would be, but maybe you were once in a similar situation.  Scared, confused, bewildered, ignorant....Focus on the divine spark within all you meet.  Do not look at what they present to you at a first glance.  The state of what they are now is a reflection of their past history.  The past is over and is an illusion.  Look towards their inner light.  See them as whole and complete.  Do not judge, simply love.  When you look at others in love, you are helping them ascend into who they are truly meant to be.  When you look at others in love and light, you are also helping yourself become enlightened and complete.  When you look at others as complete, you are helping heal and change the world.
 ~Namaste

Chief Seattle says:
"All things share the same breath- the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares the spirit of all the life it supports."

Black Elk says:
"The first peace, which is the most important,is that which comes in the soul of people when they realize their relationships, their oneness with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize that all the center of the universe dwells the Great Spirit, and that this center is really everywhere, it is within each of us."

Larry Dossey says:
"When we our focus is toward a principle of relatedness and oneness, and away from fragmentation and isolated, health ensues."

Power of Thoughts

~My thoughts are live vibrational waves sent out into the universe.  What I think will be brought back to me.  I choose to think positive, loving, beautiful thoughts so that I may receive their power back to me at full force.  When I ask I shall receive, but what is it that I am asking for?  I choose to be conscience of every thought.

~I must always remember, I am more powerful than I could have ever imagined!  My thoughts can be transferred from one person to another by simply thinking.....My thoughts can be brought into fruition by simply thinking!

~I have full access to the informational power of past masters through their akashic records.  All I have to do is be still and wait patiently for the information to come to me.  I have every answer I have ever needed or wanted by just being still and waiting.

~Your thoughts are your most powerful weapons.  Will you use yours to help or to hurt?  When I think about the negatives in my life I am actually viewing the past as the present.  I am holding myself and others to where they WERE.  Not where the ARE currently.  When I view myself and others as they are, I am freeing them and myself from the past.

~A desire stimulates a thought; a thought embodies itself as an act. An act is represented the web of destiny....The web of destiny reacts with presenting me with what my original desire is.  GOOD OR BAD!  Now, that's powerful!

~If you give seeds water and fertilizers they grow into healthy and strong plants. Thoughts, like seeds, have a natural power and a tendency to grow and manifest on the material level if they are fed with attention and interest.

Parahomhansa Yogananda says:
"Bring into play the mighty power within you so that on the stage of life you can fulfill your highest destined role."

Anna Freud says:
"I was always looking outside myself for strength and confidence, but it comes from within, it was there all the time."

H. Jackson Brown says:
"Never forget the three powerful resources you always have available to you: love, prayer, and forgiveness."

Word of the Day~ Mastery

~I am the master of my thoughts and emotions.  I do not let my idle mind get in the way of  my success. I rise above instincts and conscience thoughts.

~I am a master creator.  My creations are genius and come directly from creator.  I use my creativity to solve problems with ease.

~I am the master of an open heart.  I do not allow past ideas to turn my head from wisdom and truth.

~ I am master of words.  The power of my words stimulates and uplifts others.  I communicate thoroughly and effectively.

Jesus says:
"He who rules the spirit has won a greater victory than the taking of a city."

Friedrich Nietzsche says:
"Mastery. - We have reached mastery when we neither mistake nor hesitate in achievement"

Lighten Up

Lighten up and get the life experience that you truly desire!

How many times has the outcome you want no happened due to being close minded/hearted?
How many possible friendships and learning experiences have passed you by because you didn't want to allow it to just happen?  I have to gently remind myself sometimes to take a deep breathe and relax...go with the flow~~~

So, what are you afraid of?  What holds you back?

Silly fears that didn't mean anything use to hold me back from what I wanted to be doing with my life, until I released them and gave them to my creator to handle.  So many heartaches, trials, and tribulations stood in my way, because I let them.  With just one simple act of faith, letting go and releasing the old trauma, I am on a much healthier and happier path.

Freedom rings true to those who take an active roll in their lives.  Freedom from chaos, cynicism, doubts,  heartache....can you imagine?  With just letting go and opening up to the possibilities.

Many people think they are stuck...at the dead-end job, low income, bad relationships....You have the power to change and make life better by just deciding to allow and be in the flow of what life wants for you.

So, Act! Act now on your dreams and visions.  There is no better time than the present!

Mary Manin Morrissey says:
"You block your dreams when you allow your fear to grow bigger than your faith."

Shirley Mclaine says;
"Fear makes strangers of people who would be friends."

Affirmation for lightening up:
I release the past and welcome the now as it presents itself.  I let go of control and allow myself to be an open vessel for creator's good and abundant blessings!  I act now on what my heart desires!

Word of the day~TRUST

The word trust has the same root as true and tree, it comes from an old Nordic word meaning "hard wood".  So it really means strong, durable, and real.

In our lives, people have lied to us, treated us with disrespect, and mistrusted us.  For many people, one of these acts would shut them down from a positive relationship forever.  For others, they keep on trusting even if it brings them harm.

Trust yourself:  rely on  your senses, your intelligence, your experience, and your knowledge to provide the information you need to make the right decisions.   Trusting self also means to be honest with yourself about your feelings.  If you don't trust yourself, you can't trust anyone.  Remember, you know more than you think you do.

There is a little voice inside of us that encourages us to do amazing things...trust this voice not to fail you.

Trust others: going beyond our personal fears, communicating what we want, and asking for clarification if something is different from what we expected.

We must remember to trust people to be whom they actually are, not whom we expect them to be. This one thought could change the way we look at every relationship we've ever had.

Ralph Waldo Emerson says:
" Trust men and they will be true to you; treat them greatly and they will show themselves great."

"Trusting self is the first secret to success."

Just for today, Be kind to others

Another of the reiki principles is Just for today, be kind to others.

~Honor your parents, honor your teachers, honor your elders.
~Being kind brings love into the will.
~In this world it is easy to loose ourselves when we are not kind to others and honor them.
~There is no difference between self and others in the universal dimension.
~This principle is a lesson of karma.  When we are kind to others, we get kindness in return.
~Being kind to others can help change world.

Mother Teresa says:
"Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier.  Be the living expression of God's kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile.

Mark Twain says:
"Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see."
