Vision Beyond Emotions

Have you ever been hurt by what someone had to say or do?  I know that I have.  I would take everything way to personally.  Whenever someone had a bad day, I was SURE it was my fault.
I now realize that it wasn't my fault.  They were going to be mad even if I wasn't there.

Have you ever noticed that when you are upset you make the wrong decision?  Or didn't see the potential of a situation to turn out well?  Personally, when I was upset by thinking I was the reason for some one's problems, I started doing exactly what it was that they didn't like.  Not on purpose, but because I was afraid of making the wrong move.  It just became a vicious cycle of events.  Until one day I realized that it didn't have to be that way.
I shifted my thoughts and rose above my emotions and the emotions of others.  Now when someone has a bad day, it is all theirs.
When someone is looking for a scapegoat, it is not me.
When a decision needs to be made, it is made with clarity of mind.

When someone you know is taking their frustrations out on you, do you allow them to?  Or does it roll of your back like water?

Life is about how we handle ourselves in the midst of diversity and hard times.

Washington Irving says:
"Little minds are tamed and subdued by misfortune; but great minds rise above them."

Unknown author says:
“When it rains, most birds head for shelter; the Eagle is the only bird that, in order to avoid the rain, starts flying above the cloud.”
