Daily Affirmation

"I think positive thoughts.  I feel positive feelings.  I live a positive life.  I spread light and love."

Everything I say, do, and feel become my life around me.  If I feel good, I get good back.  If I feel bad, I get bad back.  I choose to get good back.  Everyday, every second, every moment.

Daily Affirmation

"I let go of all old thoughts that are no longer useful to me.  I coast along with my hands off the handlebars."

If I am to move forward in this life and beyond, I must release and let go of the past.  Letting go of fears, prejudices, opinions, or anything that may stand in my way.  I am thankful for the lessons they have taught me but realize they are no longer needed.  While gently reminding myself that each day you can start anew and it is okay to go with the flow!

Word of the Day~Remember

Remember that you are not the only person on the plant and that it's okay to be neighborly.
Remember 'they' can take your freedom but they can't take your thoughts.
Remember what you are here to do.
Remember to take the time to smell the roses!
and it's okay to take a day off and sleep in.
Remember to remember....

Kathleen Arnason says:
"In this vast changing world of technology the old saying "stop and smell the roses" holds even more meaning."

Charles Spurgeon says:
"Good character is the best tombstone. Those who loved you and were helped by you will remember
you when forget-me-nots have withered. Carve yourname on hearts, not on marble."

The Power of Words

With every word that is spoken, you are weaving a tapestry.  Are your words creating a strong, binding, loving weave or is it loose and snarled by your judgements and perceptions?

Sometimes it not the words spoken but the way they're spoken that matters.

-Word

Guy Finley says:
"If we only knew how many times our seemingly clever comment cut straight into the heart of the person with whom we have just spoken, it is we who would bleed."

Embracing Your Creative Self

Expressions of beauty through art and creativity is one of the highest honors you can give to your Creator.  In being creative, you are a creator.  Bending and shaping your world into what you desire.    By using the talents that you have been given intuitivly and respectfully you are paying homage and you will be blessed by doing so.

What talents do you possess?

People have told me that they are not creative in any way or that they don't have creative bone in their body.  If that is something you would say, I kindly remind you to look at everything that you do and if it as a talent, because it is.  If you choose to look at what you do as creative and flowing, your experiences will become more creative and flowing.

Abraham Maslow says:
“The key question isn’t “What fosters creativity?” But it is why in God’s name isn’t everyone creative? Where was the human potential lost? How was it crippled? I think therefore a good question might be not why do people create? But why do people not create or innovate? We have got to abandon that sense of amazement in the face of creativity, as if it were a miracle if anybody created anything.”

Vincent van Gogh says:
“If you hear a voice within you say, ‘You cannot paint,’ then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.”
